Terms for Wakalab Software products, licenses, support and updates.
Last updated: July 10, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your purchase, download, installation and use of paid Wakalab Software products, including Markdown Renderer for GitHub Pro, unless a product-specific agreement states otherwise.
"Wakalab Software", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Wakalab Software, operated by Wakalab. "You" refers to the person or organization purchasing, installing or using the product.
Our paid products are digital software licenses. Checkout, payment processing, applicable tax handling, receipts, invoices and refund processing may be handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Final prices, taxes, supported payment methods and renewal conditions are shown at checkout.
Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the purchased software for the number of WordPress sites allowed by your purchased plan. Unless a plan states otherwise, one license is valid for one production WordPress site.
The software may include open-source components distributed under their respective licenses. Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted to you under an applicable open-source license.
You must not:
Paid licenses may include product updates and priority support for the period and scope shown on the product or checkout page. We may change, improve, remove or discontinue features when needed for security, compatibility, maintenance, or product direction.
Support does not include custom development, third-party plugin/theme debugging outside the product's scope, production operations, or legal/compliance advice unless separately agreed in writing.
We provide a 30-day money-back guarantee for paid software licenses. To request a refund, contact support@wakalab.dev within 30 days of purchase and include the order email address and order identifier when available.
Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy where applicable. We may refuse or limit refund requests involving abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, repeated refund cycling, or violation of these Terms.
You are responsible for your WordPress site, hosting environment, content, backups, security settings and compliance obligations. You should test updates in an appropriate environment before applying them to production.
We may suspend or terminate license access, updates or support if you materially violate these Terms, misuse license systems, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the product in a harmful or unlawful way. Sections that by nature should survive termination remain in effect.
Products are provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, compatibility with every theme, plugin, hosting stack, browser or third-party service, or that the product will meet every requirement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wakalab Software is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for a claim related to a paid product is limited to the amount you paid for that product during the 12 months before the claim arose.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless otherwise required by consumer protection law, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over Wakalab's principal place of business in Japan.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
