Product Launch Template
Use this template for every paid Wakalab product, beginning with Markdown Renderer for GitHub Pro. Product facts belong on the product page; shared selling policy belongs on Legal.
Required sales-page sections
- Value proposition — who the product is for and the problem it solves.
- Free vs paid comparison — mark each capability as Free, paid, released or planned. Never present a planned capability as released.
- Plans and price — currency, billing period, site or account limits, and any tax treatment shown by the checkout provider.
- License scope — permitted sites, activation/deactivation behavior, renewal and post-expiry behavior.
- Installation and support — install path, support contact and the boundary between free-community and paid support.
- FAQ — include the shared refund period and product-specific questions.
- Purchase CTA — the verified Lemon Squeezy checkout URL.
- Legal links — Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Japanese SCTA Notice.
Product-addition checklist
- [ ] Record product name, slug, owning repository and public product URL.
- [ ] Add the English and Japanese product pages, then add both to navigation/sidebar.
- [ ] Confirm the verified Lemon Squeezy checkout URL, price, billing interval and customer-facing tax presentation.
- [ ] Define the license/site limit and ensure it matches checkout, FAQ, terms and the product implementation.
- [ ] Link the shared legal URLs. Do not create product-local terms or refund pages unless an approved exception requires one.
- [ ] Link the canonical documentation, roadmap and changelog.
- [ ] If a Lab or demo exists, decide its URL, audience and canonical/noindex/301 treatment using the Content Architecture.
- [ ] Confirm all Free, paid, released and planned feature claims against the owning repository.
- [ ] Add support contact and update behavior; ensure paid-support scope is clear.
- [ ] Review English/Japanese parity, canonical and hreflang output, sitemap inclusion and mobile CTA behavior.
- [ ] Verify checkout links and legal URLs in production before announcing the product.
GFMR Pro reference implementation
Markdown Renderer for GitHub Pro is the first implementation of this template. Its roadmap and changelog are published on Wakalab; its Live Lab remains focused on real rendering demonstrations and GFMR-specific technical notes.
